Consumer Watchdog corrects Gov. Schwarzenegger's analysis of malpractice caps and premiums
Consumer Watchdog sent the following letter to Congressional leaders today in response to a letter sent by California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in which he incorrectly cited California's draconian limits on the legal rights of injured patients as a successful cost containment tool. Consumer Watchdog is a nonpartisan nonprofit with offices in California and Washington, D.C.

Hospitals and medical centers partner to share quality data to improve breast cancer treatment
The Metropolitan Chicago Breast Cancer Task Force has announced the 56 participating hospitals, medical centers and mammography providers that are partnering to share quality data in order to identify deficits and implement strategies to improve breast cancer screening and treatment and reduce breast cancer mortality disparities.
